At age 10, Chef Ray began collecting and saving recipes in a shoebox.  Little did he know that he was paving the way to a stellar career as a personal chef.  Ray took a circuitous route   to Chef-dom, having spent 20 years working as a computer architect for IBM. September 11, 2001 had a profound effect  on Ray.  It was then that he decided to pursue his life long ambition to become a chef. 

Upon graduating from the French Culinary Institute in New York City, he founded Always Gourmet, a personal chef service.  Ray prepares healthy, delicious meals for those who do not have the time, making him the personal chef for these clients.  He believes that healthy foods are the link to healing and wholeness.  Chef Ray and his wife Barbara reside in New York and Connecticut.
